PiRATEs of The CaribBEAN

whenever anyone mention about the movie pirates of the caribbean, theres always this 1 figure will cross my mind. its johnny depp a.k.a Mr. Jack Sparrow. i dont bother if anyone were to call me lame for having this idea because since i was a small kid, i grow up watching his movies. i first fell for him when i watch him in the movie "Edward The Scissorhands". i personally believe that he is a living legend. in the list of characters for the pirates of the Caribbean, i think they can replace the list of casts with another set of different casts but the one and only character they cant change the actor is Jack Sparrow's. there's just no one as good as Johnny Depp to play the role of Jack Sparrow. in fact, he's character is the one who stands out in the movie. the spontaneous, the narcissism, the humorous and the attitude he brings always makes us eager to know what will happen next. the first part of the movie was produced in 2003 with the title Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl, followed by The Dead Man's Chest in 2006 and in 2007, it was At World's End. we were told that At World's End is the last sequel of The Pirates of The Caribbean. they are not going to produce any more sequel of it. but its a shocking yet happy news for the fans and supporters of this movie including ME that Walt Disney Production has just produced and releasing the new sequel of this movie which is On Stranger Tides. It has not been premiere yet in the cinemas here. but once it has been premier, i will definitely catch it as soon as i can!

the main project for my creative writing subject this semester is writing a short story of 10-15 pages based on the pictures that has been given by our 1 and only Mr. Jaferi.

There are about 8 pictures which is a monkey holding a gun, fire truck, malay village house, a durian, motorcyclists, Liverpool's emblem, double decker bus, and fighting scene. Its a group work of four (me, tyra, kim and jasmine) and we are given the freedom to write any kind of story line that we want. It can be a love story, thriller etc. We choose to write about a mystery cums action kind of short story. Its quite a lot to write about it here so I decided to write about the role of the monkey which is holding a gun in our story. In our short story called The Sacred Durian, we decided to put the monkey which we call as Rungga to be the monkey warrior in our short story. He is chosen and given the mandate to tell and convince Mike( the leading character in our story) that Mike is the next heir of The Sacred Durian.Rungga has a little bit of typical narcissistic character. he is proud of himself and his abilities. Mike refused to believe him at first but after Rungga showed him few proves, he soon start to believe.

ForGiveNESS

FORGIVENESS. its very subjective. this process happens any time, in any part of the

world and to anyone. according to mr. Wiki Pedia, forgiveness is typically defined as the process of concluding resentment, indignation or anger as a result of a perceived offense, difference or mistake.

in my understanding, i would say forgiveness occurs whenever anyone ask for apology from another party due to any mistake or offense he/she did and that other party eventually forgives that person.

Still, often happen situations where we can actually forgive, but we find it very hard to forget what the other person has done to us because it hurts so much. that is why, i have always agree that the great one in this forgiveness process is the one who can forgive and forget at the same time.

However we should also look up to the people who are dare and brave enough to admit their mistake and ask for forgiveness. it is because not much people are willing to do that because we human beings have always been infected by a virus called EGO that often stops us from admitting our mistake.

We should also have a high respect for the one who is willing to forgives sincerely with all their heart because it shows that they have a noble and big heart.
regardless the action we take no matter asking for forgiveness or hope to be forgiven by someone.. in the end, its we ourselves will be questioned about the action that we took today. to forgive but cannot forget means cannot let go. And so can lead to bearing a grudge towards someone who already seek for forgiveness.

that is also the reason when it comes to forgiveness issue, the most important part is that we have a sincere intention to ask for forgiveness and to forgive, because forgiveness is not something we do for others. we do it for ourselves, its for us to get well and to move on. And I have to say that I agree with Catherine Ponder's thought about forgiveness which is

"When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.”

My secondary tutor once told me ' to make a mistake is human, but to forgive is divine. Which means Everybody makes mistakes, so that's normal and expected. But the people who forgive the one who made the mistake are doing something extraordinary, as not anyone will forgive easily. So, we should never hesitate in making this forgiveness process a success because then only the world will be a better place to live.

Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe, Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe.

it was like 7-8 years ago that when i woke up at 9am during end of year school holiday, i will be hearing these lines from the song 'harder to breathe' on the speaker of our sony music player at home. This song was sang by
one of the famous rock band from Los Angeles , called Maroon 5. others might recognize them from one their famous song 'this love' but i have known them since before and thanks to my third elder brother for this. he put the song on our stereo almost every morning till my mom can hum on the song while cooking! i mean its a rock song! ahaha. And I can consider Maroon 5 as one of my favourite band besides nickelback, hinder and not to forget the oldies like the beatles.
so why do they call themselves as 'Maroon 5'? well, i have not done any serious or formal research on this matter yet. But of course I do have few personal opinion about that. My first opinion will be, they chose the name maroon because majority of the team member likes maroon colour. My second opinion will be, they chose this name because they want to come out with something that makes people wonder like what I'm doing now. Its a very good marketing strategy I must say because when people wonder about something, they will tend to find out and do research which will actually lead them to listening the songs of the band's. And they will ended up liking it because the band produce good musics. However there are some people who like to criticize and look down towards this band's musics. But it makes no difference to me, to other fans and to Maroon 5 themselves because no matter what the critics says, the number of fans and the award winning will always increase whenever they produce new album or new song. This shows how good they are in music and Adam Levine, your voice is so unique that until now I still could not find any other singer that sounds even a little bit like yours. Thats what makes Maroon 5 special to me!

When i got the assignment of writing about my favorite musician, i began to wonder about in the woods of music maestros I'm exposed to. Like Robin, i combed thru Sherwood looking for that so called favorite when my dad popped into checking on me via my k660i Sony ericksson. Being a poverty stricken student who lacks in the indulgence of ipads and blackberry's, i could only imagine his figure in my head instead of his image appearing on my screen...

Nice, warm, fuzzy facial hairs and those weird collared shirts colored my mind with his presence. Collars. Giant Collars, Colourful studded Giant Collars. Musically inclined genius.... "Houston, we have got the landing site on target!!!!" Aaron it is then.

Some knows him as "the king of rock" or fondly just the "King". According to the God of Internet mr.wick e. pedia, this guy is not just a legend but like the man who invented the word legend.

But my dealings with this legend purely boils down to a single rainy night about 12 years ago in my crowded room. Coming from a borderline enormous family, privacy has never never been an issue to us literally speaking. Yes there were never an issue of anyone having any privacy.

Me and my 5 sisters shared a room with our aunt, trying our level best not to step on anybodies toes. One day it rained to bad that we had a bit of leak in the room, keeping us awake from producing sufficient snoring to keep the boys awake in the room next door.

It was my aunt who had the idea of switching on her little hand held blackberry shaped pocket radio and after an obstacle of sw/fm/am frequencies, a little voice beckoned our attention.

Rain on roof + 5 squabbling siblings + nagging aunt = can never listen to the radio.

And this were the circumstances when I first heard the song "Are you lonesome tonight". Quite the contrary that I am surrounded by people and yet still I would never forget that little voice coming from the blackberry of yesteryears. The soothing rendering done with subtle music lacing the edges vaguely heard was my dream song.

Disregard of the large studded colorful collars he fancies, I will always remember and love Aaron for being first man ever to ask me if I was "lonesome tonight"....

ok this is the first time im actually writing a blog and my first lucky entry will be none other than the cny :D!
the greatest thing about cny is that we got 2 days of solid public holidays. ahaha
and for me whose doing a part time job, its the time to make money! obviously because i got double pay during the two days and its AWESOME!
ok coming back to the cny topic, as usual each year when cny comes we will see daring red, fancy gold colour almost everywhere. there will be 'angpau' given to the kids and those who are unmarried yet and not to forget, the lion dance!
since im quite excited with all these, i have decided to write it in haikus form. i just learned about haiku so im not really a pro at it but i still want to give it a try. but 1st, let me explain the meaning of haiku. from my understanding, haiku is something like a poem(but its not actually), consist of 3 lines with 13 to 17 words which have rhymes in it. we can talk about anything in haiku. theres no specific topic. you can also check the wikipedia's definition on haiku by checking this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku . so here are the 4 haikus regarding Chinese new year that i have wrote.
